Lee’s Sandwiches Raises Money Nationwide after Hurricane Harvey Relief

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Lee’s Sandwiches International, Inc., The World’s Largest Bánh Mì Chain, is mobilizing its 60 stores across the U.S to aid in relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey, one of the most damaging natural disasters in U.S history.
On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, the company will donate 100% of its proceeds, up to $100,000, from its $1 Lee’s Coffee Fundraiser, to “The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund,” established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Judge Ed Emmett for the Greater Houston Community Foundation. Customers can make additional monetary donations at Lee’s Sandwiches stores from now to September 15th that will be added to the total amount of donation. The Greater Houston Community Foundation provides shelter, temporary housing needs, food, supplies, healthcare, and transportation to those affected by the tragedy.
Lee’s Sandwiches is also hitting the streets of Houston to deliver food donations of sandwiches, coffee, and water to local churches and rescue shelters. In addition, the chain is partnering with multiple non-profit organizations throughout California and Texas to hold fundraising concerts.
